By using People Finder, you agree to these terms.

The service

People Finder is an image search engine. It sends a photo you choose to FaceCheck.ID and may return possible visual matches from public webpages. Results are informational leads only. They are not identity verification, proof, a background check, or a statement of fact about any person.

Your permission and responsibility

You may search only your own photo or a photo for which you have written authorization and lawful authority. You are responsible for the photo you submit, your reason for searching, and how you use any result.

Prohibited use

You must not:

• search for or attempt to identify a minor;
• harass, stalk, threaten, shame, surveil, or exploit another person;
• claim that a possible visual match proves identity, conduct, guilt, or association;
• use results for employment, housing, lending, insurance, education, legal, financial, safety, or eligibility decisions;
• upload unlawful material or violate privacy, publicity, copyright, or other rights;
• circumvent purchase controls, interfere with the service, automate abusive searches, or reverse engineer protected systems.

Purchases

The app offers a one-time consumable purchase that unlocks one search. It is not a subscription. The App Store displays the localized price and processes payment. Consumable purchases generally cannot be restored after they have been used. Apple’s payment, refund, and storefront rules also apply.

Availability and results

Search availability and coverage may change. Public webpages can be removed or updated. We do not guarantee that a search will return a match, that a result is accurate, or that every public source is searched. Failed searches may be refunded as an app search credit when the service can confirm that processing did not complete.

Intellectual property

People Finder, its interface, and original software are owned by MPeN Apps or its licensors. Public result pages and third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners. People Finder is not affiliated with or endorsed by any law-enforcement agency.

Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. You must independently verify context before acting on any information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MPeN Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use or misuse of the service.

Changes and termination

We may update the service or these terms. We may limit access when necessary to protect people, comply with law, prevent abuse, or maintain the service. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
